TÜSİAD organized a seminar on the code of obligations

Before the enactment date of the  new Code of Obligations, in order to evaluate the new legal framework and to provide a platform of exchange of information about its practical aspect, TÜSİAD, organized a seminar titled “The Code of Obligations” on May 28th 2012.

Opening speeches of the seminar were given by Mr. Kenan Yılmaz Head of the Company Law Working Group of TÜSİAD and Ms.  Gülden Türktan, Head of the  Employment and Social Security Working Group of TÜSİAD.

The seminar proceeded with the presentation of communiqués in a session moderated by Barbaros Çağa, Esq., member of the  Company Law and Employment and Social Security Working Groups of TÜSİAD. The communiqué on the “Establishment, invalidity and execution of contracts, sale contracts,  lease contracts and accessory contracts” was presented by Prof. Dr. Haluk Burcuoğlu from the Istanbul University, and Dr. Kübra Doğan Yenisey from Bilgi University furnished information on the “Service Contracts”.
