The survey is conducted to 801 private sector representatives in Istanbul between May - July 2014. The findings of the survey were launched with a seminar called "The Perception of Corruption in Turkey: A Business Perspective" seminar on November 26, 2014. The opening speech was delivered by Haluk Dincer, Chairman of TUSIAD. Jermyn Brooks, Head of Business Advisory Board of Transparency International, attended the seminar as the guest speaker. After the launch of the findings, a discussion panel was organized, followed by a high level panel where participates from the OECD, IBLF and TI shared their opinions on global solutions to corruption.

Assuming the role and the responsibility of businesses in fighting against bribery and corruption, TUSIAD initiated a survey study on the perception of corruption among the Turkish businesses and possible solutions to corruption. Face to face interviews in Istanbul and informal focus group meetings in Gaziantep, Antalya and Denizli have helped shaping the survey questions.
