Inaugural Friendship meeting of the Institut du Bosphore held in Paris

In its second year of operation, the Institut du Bosphore expanded its field of influence with the establishment of its Friendship Group (“Cercle de l’Institut du Bosphore”).

The Institut du Bosphore Friendship Group is designed to be an ideas forum and an extensive social network with relation to Franco-Turkish relations. The Friendship Group aims to bring together leading figures from the worlds of economics, politics and thought from France, Turkey and Europe within the same objectives as the Institut du Bosphore.

The Friendship Group was inaugurated at a breakfast meeting held in Paris on 14th June. The meeting, focusing on Turkey’s general elections, political and economic developments, opened with speeches from investigative journalist Alexander Adler, Kadir Has University lecturer on international relations Soli Özel, and Bahçeşehir University economics professor Seyfettin Gürsel.
