“B20 Summit”, the Business Summit offshoot of G-20 has been held on June 17th-18th, 2012 in Los Cabos, Mexico. The Summit compiled the opinions private sector representatives of the G20 countries, to present them at the G20 Leaders Summit.
TÜSİAD participated institutionally to the B20 Summit. Ms. Ümit Boyner, President of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD, related the point of view of TÜSİAD in the meetings on “Financing for Growth and Development” and on “Information and Communication Technologies and Innovation. She also held bilateral meetings with various chairpersons of counterpart organizations with the participation of G20 leaders.
Ms. Ümit Boyner shared the point of view of TÜSİAD in the meeting on the “Trade and Investment” where Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was also present as the guest head of state.
In addition to Ms. Ümit Boyner, President of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD, Mr. Tayfun Bayazıt, Member of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD, Ms. Ayşegül İldeniz, President of the Technology and Innovation Working Group of TÜSİAD, and TÜSİAD members, Mr. Turgay Durak, Mr. Ali Kibar, Mr. Erol Kiresepi and Dr. Tamer Saka participated also to the summit.
