The New Economic Program announced by the Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak contains realistic targets. In particular, we welcome increased austerity measures, the continuation of fiscal discipline, the fight against the informal economy, tax policies, support for high-value added production, and the commitment to reducing the current account deficit. We hope that the program will be implemented fully and that concrete results will be achieved quickly.

“Turkey-Europe Future Forum” organized by TÜSİAD/TCCI and Mercator Stiftung is a training program for 33 young leaders between the ages of 25-38 from Turkey, Germany and Europe. Throughout the program (July 01-08) meetings and training modules concerning Turkey-European Union relations were organized.
