TÜSİAD SD²: A Strategic Alliance for Digital Transformation in Turkish Industry
Since 2016, TÜSİAD’s reports have consistently highlighted the gap between technology supply and demand in Turkey. To address this structural challenge, the TÜSİAD Digital Transformation in Industry Program (TÜSİAD SD²) was launched in 2018. The program aims to support the digital transformation of Turkish industry and ensure the long-term sustainability of this process.
The TÜSİAD SD² Program unites technology users and providers to tackle specific challenges, needs, and opportunities, with the objective of increasing high value-added production and maintaining global competitiveness. Simultaneously, it promotes the capabilities of Turkish technology companies and enables technology-oriented SMEs to validate their solutions with customers.
Between 2018 and 2025, across eight call periods, a total of 1,044 solution applications were submitted in response to 89 calls. Digital solutions have been developed through close collaboration between matched technology users and suppliers. Furthermore, with the introduction of the TÜSİAD SD² Digital Platform, the program seeks to facilitate continuous interaction and cooperation between user and supplier companies.
TÜSİAD SD² Digital Platform: New Structure and Expanding Ecosystem
As of 2025, the TÜSİAD SD² Digital Platform is set to broaden the program’s reach and encourage increased participation from companies in the digital transformation journey. Featuring a new structure, the platform offers enhanced accessibility and functionality for technology users, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Through the TÜSİAD SD² Digital Platform:
Technology Users can:
- Assess their digital maturity levels,
- Access open calls for digital transformation projects available 24/7 and submit applications,
- Explore technological solutions categorized by sector, along with related presentations and videos.
Technology Suppliers can:
- Apply to calls posted on the platform,
- Conduct customer validation and collaborate onsite if matched,
- Promote their solutions both on the platform and at various events.
Additionally, all member companies can strengthen their business networks through exclusive events, sector-specific technology meetings, site visits, and one-on-one meetings.
