Are the fiscal consolidation and the rigorous policies implemented in the EU, systematically leading to social unrest and isolationism? How is the economic situation in Southern Europe impacting the desire for Europe, amongst the candidate countries? What is the Turkish perception of a possible European integration in the scope of the 2014 presidential and municipal elections? Social movements in "Gezi Park" will be analyzed in the light of their social aspects and effects on the evolution of Turkish democracy.
