TÜSİAD "These Young People Have the Potential!" Project to reward young entrepreneurs is opened for application

The project consists of a competition of innovative business ideas and aims at encouraging business leaders of the future and young entrepreneurs. The deadline of application for the competition is the 10th of May.

In 2011 TÜSİAD launched the "These Young People Have the Potential!"  project in order to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship among university students. TÜSİAD "These Young People Have the Potential!" project activities included a competition of good business ideas among the student bodies of the pilot universities, ODTÜ (Middle East Technical University) and Bilkent University.

In accordance with the demand from many different universities, the project to reward innovative business ideas and to support entrepreneurship is now open to the applications from the universities all over Turkey. For the year of 2012 the theme of the project is determined as “Employment and Sustainability” and application deadline is announced as May 10th, 2012.

The project teams selected as finalists after the screening stage will have the opportunity of developing their business plan with the guidance of mentors, members of TÜSİAD. Successful prizewinning young competitors will benefit business oriented educational programs and further guidance of TÜSİAD members. The competitors will also obtain a preferred status for internship in TÜSİAD member companies. For the prizewinning projects, there are possibilities of further assistance and support from the TÜSİAD members.
