The Application for the 10. eTürkiye (eTR) Awards organized by TÜSİAD and TBV has started

eTR Awards will be awarded to the best eState projects of the public institutions and municipalities.

Application to the awards can be made between July 25th 2012 and October 3rd 2012.

TÜSİAD and TBV (Turkey Informatics Foundation) are organizing this year the tenth eTR Awards. Application to the awards can be made between July 25th 2012 and October 3rd 2012. The Award will be presented to the winners with a ceremony in this December.

The 10th eTR Awards will be given in the Public to Citizens eServices Category, the Public to Business eServices Category, the Public to Public eServices Category, and the (Small, Medium and Large) Municipalities Category.

Headquarters and local offices of the public sector institutions (public professional organizations included) can apply for the awards in the categories Public to Citizens eServices, the Public to Business eServices, the Public to Public eServices, and municipalities and institutions affiliated by them, for the awards in the Municipalities Category.

Applications in all categories are required to have an active and/or interactive structure. The applications currently in the phase of design or development, pilot projects and only information supplying passive solutions are not eligible.

Applications which support the modern conception of state, and contribute to the adoption of principles such as transparency, social responsibility, increasing prospects of employment, and cost effectiveness, while they may not meet the above mentioned requirements in any category, may anyway be honored with “special awards”.

As a special feature of the 10th eTR Awards, previous projects which received an eTR Award in the past years will be examined, and an award of “Best Progressing Project” will be selected by the TÜSİAD-TBV eTR Executive Committee, following an assessment of the achievements of the project.

eTR AWARDS

TÜSİAD and the Turkish Informatics Foundation (TBV) have been organizing the “eTR Awards” since 2003 with the purpose of contributing to the success of the “eTurkey” transformation in the EU harmonization process of our country striving to became an information society, and accelerating the competitiveness enhancing, knowledge based, and eServices centered transformation.

The eTR awards are of importance in activating the general public, the political decision makers, the public authorities, municipalities and the business community about eTurkey. The awards contributes to the multiplication of projects in this vein, by drawing attention to the exemplary practices in the state, by promoting innovative enterprises, and by supporting and encouraging successful projects.

 
WINNERS OF THE 9th eTR AWARDS:

In the Public to Citizens eServices Category, Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury General Directorate of Insurance, with its project titled “OTOKONTROL 5664”;
in the Public to Business eServices Category, Turkish Standards Institute, with its project titled “BelgeNET”;
in the Public to Public eServices Category, the Ministry of Finance Directorate General of Public Accounts, with its project titled “Public Personnel Expenditures Management System”;
in the Large Municipalities Category, Konya Water and Sewerage Administration (KOSKI) with its project titled “Koski Mobile Job Tracking”;
in the Medium Scale Municipalities Category, the Municipality of Fatih, with its project titled “Fatih Mobile”;
in the Small Municipalities Category, the Municipality of Karasu, with its project titled “Karasu, Smart City”
have received 9th eTR Awards.

Furthermore, the Municipality of Küçükçekmece with its project titled “Small Gains” and the Municipality of Yeni Mahalle with its project titled “New Card” have received special awards.
