The winners of the EU Environment Awards were announced with a ceremony organized by TÜSİAD and REC Turkey

"EU Environment Awards" established by the European Commission awarded the companies pioneering in environmentally-friendly products and policies. The awards in the categories of management, process and product were announced with a ceremony attended by Mr. Egemen Bağış, Minister for European Union Affairs and the Chief Negotiator.

The 2011-2012 Turkey Program of the EU Environment Awards, established by the European Commission to honor the companies pioneering in environmentally-friendly products and policies, were announced with a ceremony held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Istanbul, on 18 July 2012.

The ceremony for the awards in the categories of management, process and product took place with the participation of Egemen Bağış, Minister for European Union Affairs and the Chief Negotiator. Ms. Cansen Başaran Symes, Member of the Board of Director and President of the of Corporate Affairs Committee of TÜSİAD, Dr. Sibel Sezer Eralp Director of REC Turkey and Ambassador Jean-Maurice Ripert, Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey delivered the opening speeches during the award ceremony.
