The "Family Companies Platform" Holds its Second Seminar in Kayseri

Supported by TKYD (the Corporate Governance Association of Turkey), TÜRKONFED (the Turkish Enterprise and Business Confederation) and TİDE (the Institute of Internal Auditing - Turkey), TÜSİAD held the second in its series of "Family Companies Platform" seminars on 6th April at the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce. 

The Kayseri seminar's opening speeches were delivered by TÜSİAD Corporate Governance Working Group President and Corporate Governance Association of Turkey Board Member Dr. Murat Doğu, and Kayseri Chamber of Commerce President Mustafa Boydak. In his speech, Dr. Murat Doğu stressed that nowadays, corporate governance was one of the fundamental elements in determining competition. 

Pointing out that the principles of fairness, transparency, responsibility and accountability insiped consumer confidence first of all, he stated that these were now priority expectations of investors, regulators, civil society organizations and in general every part of society; corporate governance was increasing in importance day by day, and has been described as the backbone of companies' sustainability policies.
