The Board of Directors of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) met with the leaders of political parties in Ankara on June 16-17, 2015. The President of the Board of Directors Cansen Başaran-Symes issued this statement following the visit: 

The Turkish people have spoken. Commenting on Sunday’s elections in Turkey, BUSINESSEUROPE underlined that European companies support a democratic, strong and open Turkey. “Together with our members TÜSIAD and TISK, we continue to support Turkey’s path towards Europe”, said Director General Markus J. Beyrer in Brussels.

NEW NETWORK OF YOUNG EUROPEAN DECISION-MAKERS

European Union Foreign Minister Federica Mogherini is taking over as patron of the Turkey Europe Future Forum. In this role, Mogherini will be supporting a new network of young European decision-makers that is committed to strengthening Turkish-European relations. The kick-off meeting of the Turkey Europe Future Forum will take place from May 30 to June 7 in Istanbul and Ankara, where 30 participants aged between 25 and 38 will join experts and decision-makers in a discussion of the joint challenges of tomorrow.

In cooperation with the UK Embassy, TÜSİAD has organized a meeting entitled “ICT’s Cross Cutting Role in the G20-B20 priorities & Its Effect on Growth and Employment” on 14^th of May, in TÜSİAD Headquarters.
