Established with TUSIAD's initiative in 2009, Institut du Bosphore will organize in collaboration with CSFRS (High Council for Strategic Education and Research) its 6th  annual Seminar entitled “Why Europe matters: transcending the crisis to invent our commun future” on  13th October in Istanbul.

With the presence of TUSIAD President Haluk Dinçer, Institut du Bosphore Scientific Committee Co-Presidents Kemal Derviş, Vice-President of the Brookings and Advisor for the Sabancı University, and Anne Lauvergeon, President of the French “Commission Innovation 2030“, this 6th seminar will  address current geostrategic and international issues and will underline the benefits for Europe, France and Turkey of speaking in one voice on the world stage and strengthen their cooperation. The 100th anniversary of World War I, also gives the participants the opportunity to think between past and future, between review and projection, and build a common future for Europe, Turkey and France.
