Institut du Bosphore will be organize 4th edition of the Bosphorus Seminar on November 8-9 in Istanbul

Conceived as an organization fostering ongoing, free and objective dialogue, Institut du Bosphore, was established in 2009 as a Franco–Turkish think tank in Paris. The institute tackles the full range of geopolitical, economic, societal and cultural issues in order to highlight Turkey's involvement in the international fabric of society, the G20 and in particular its proximity to France and integration to the European Union.

To this end, Institut du Bosphore organizes each year in İstanbul, “Bosphorous Seminars” that constitutes the leading rendez- vous for French and Turkish decision-makers, business people, key opinion leaders, politicians and intellectuals to discuss  global challenges and to present new approaches to the French-Turkish relationship, with a special focus on Turkey’s role in Europe’s future. Since 2009, the Institute gathers the co-presidents of the Scientific Committee of Institut du Bosphore, Henri de Castries, Chairman and CEO of AXA Management Board and Kemal Dervis, Vice-President of Brookings Institution, prominent personalities such as Abdullah Gül, President of Turkey;  Ali Babacan, Deputy Prime Minister, Turkey; Pierre Moscovici, Minister of Economy and Finances, France; Pierre Lellouche, former Minister of Trade, France; Jean-Pierre Jouyet, President of Autorité des Marchés Financiers; Hubert Védrine, Former Minister of Foreign Affairs, France and Alain Bauer, President of CSFRS.
