Institut du Bosphore launches a new Cercle

Two years after its establishment, the Institut du Bosphore expands its reach by inaugurating “Cercle de l’Institut du Bosphore” which will hold its first breakfast meeting on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in Paris. 
 
The “Cercle de l’Institut du Bosphore” is a forum for reflection and wider network to serve the Franco-Turkish relationship. It aims to pursue the objectives of the Institut du Bosphore, by bringing together a wider circle of French, Turkish and European personalities from political, economic and intellectual circles.
 
With the participation of Alexander Adler, historian, journalist, Institut du Bosphore Scientific Committee member, Seyfettin Gürsel, professor of economy in Bahçeşehir University and Soli Özel, professor of international relations in Kadir Has University, Institut du Bosphore Scientific Committee member, the debate will focus on the elections in Turkey and their economic and political implications. 
 
The debate will be moderated by Didier Billion, editorial director of IRIS, publications coordinator of Institut du Bosphore.
