TUSIAD's "The New Climate Regime through the Lens of Economic Indicators" Report was introduced

TÜSİAD's "The New Climate Regime through the Lens of Economic Indicators" report launch was held on September 21, with the participation of the Minister of Environment and Urbanization and Chief Climate Negotiator Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Birpınar.

The opening speeches were made by TÜSİAD President Simone Kaslowski and TÜSİAD’s Vice President and the Leader of the Energy and Environment Round Table Murat Özyeğin at the launch of the report, which was prepared within the activities of the Energy and Environment Round Table.

The guest speaker of the event was Sir Laurie Bristow, UK government's COP26 Regional Ambassador to the Middle East, North Africa, Eastern Europe, Central Asia and China.

"The New Climate Regime through the Lens of Economic Indicators" Report discusses the impacts of the new climate regime on the Turkish industry with economic models.

The presentation was made by the authors of the report, Prof. Dr. Erinç Yeldan from Kadir Has University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Atıl Aşıcı from Istanbul Technical University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sevil Acar from Bogazici Univesity, and moderated by Fatih Özkadı, President of TÜSİAD Environment and Climate Change Working Group.
