Biography of Cansen Basaran-Symes

President of the Board of Directors of TUSIAD

TÜSİAD Foreign Trade Working Group organized a seminar entitled "Latest Developments in Foreign Trade & New Period at Customs" on 26th of January at TUSIAD Headquarters. 

TCCI- GMF joint panel entitled “After Two Decades: Deepening Turkey's Customs Union with TTIP Perspectives” was organized on 27^th of October in European School of Management and Technology Berlin.

The 45^th General Assembly of the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) convened in Istanbul on January 22, 2015 and elected a new Board of Directors.

Cansen Başaran-Symes was elected President of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD. Sedat Şükrü Ünlütürk and Ali Y. Koç were elected Vice Presidents and Murat Özyeğin was elected Treasurer.

Turkey: Culture of Change Initiative (TCCI) Advisory Board organized its first meeting on 27^th of October in European School of Management and Technology with the presence of its co-presidents, Arzuhan Doğan Yalçındağ, Chairwoman of DoğanTV Holding and Wolfgang Ischinger, Chairman of Stiftung Münchner Sicherheitskonferenz.
