    TÜSİAD and Education Reform Initiative (ERI) organized jointly a “Special Session on Vocational Education” on April 13th, 2013 at the Tuzla Campus of Sabancı University.

    The tenth Good Practice in Education Conference organized by Education Reform Initiative (ERI) aim to reach out to teachers and instructors who strive to improve learning and learning environments in class, in school and outside of school, and to bring them together with their colleagues with the aim of creating new learning environments.

    For the last three years within the Good Practice in Education Conference, ERI and TÜSİAD organize jointly a “Special Session on Vocational Education”. In this special session, good practices in the vocational high schools, vocational colleges, apprenticeship training centers and private sector institutions collaborating with these educational institutions are shared and promoted.

    The special session included a panel titled “Current Development in Vocational Education and Expectations” to discuss the current developments and evaluate particularly the ongoing reform and restructuring activities of the Ministry of National Education. In addition to the various stakeholders, representatives of the private sector were also present in the panel and shared their activities in the sphere of vocational education, the difficulties they encountered and their expectations.
