  • TÜSİAD has been elected president of the Union of Black Sea and Caspian Confederation of Enterprises

    Union of Black Sea and Caspian Confederation of Enterprises (BLACKSEACASPIANBUSINESS) is established in 2006, to be the voice of the business community of the Black Sea and Caspian Region including the Balkans, the Caucasia and the Central Asia, a region where Turkey has strong historical and geographical ties.

    The sixth General Assembly of the Union composed of nongovernmental business organization in the Black Sea and Caspian region was held on April 5th, 2013, in Istanbul. The General Assembly was hosted by TÜSİAD.

    Mr. Osman F. Boyner, Member of the Board of Directors of TÜSİAD and President of the Global Economic Relations Committee was elected the president of the Union. Azerbaijan Turkey Business Association (ATIB) and Georgian Entrepreneurs Confederation (GEC) were elected as the Vice Presidents.

    The 6th General Assembly of the Union designated also priorities of the new Board of Directors. In addition to increase activities aiming at developing bilateral and multilateral economic and trade relations among the countries of the region, the priorities include also activities on entrepreneurship, competitiveness and sustainable growth.

    Following the General Assembly, the new Green Business Project of the Union was launched. The project of establishing an information network to create awareness about the sustainable development and green business in the Black Sea and Caspian region was presented with a meeting.
